World of fresh produce : Fruit Logistica from 08 to 11 february 2012

This year, the leading international meeting place of Fresh Produce will be held from 08 to 11 February 2012 at the Messe Berlin Gmbh Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin.

56 000 visitors from 132 countries will be present at the exhibition. The Partner Country is Turkey. And Madagascar will be represented by the SCRIMAD company in Hall 6.2/D-07

 

 

To start the year 2012, Madagascar had the honor of being the official partner of the touristic exhibition Reisemarkt Rhein-Neckar-Pfalz in Mannheim (Baden-Wurttemberg ) from 6 to 8 January. The region partner was the Bruche Valley (Alsace).

This exhibition organised by Messen-Kongress-GmbH Ausstellungen TMS led by Dr. Frank Klaus with about 300 exhibitors on 8000m2 area was a real opportunity to promote Madagascar tourism in Germany. The country was represented by 2 malagasy and german operator tours respectively Adventure Expedition managed by Mr Lawis and Urlaub & Culture headed by Mr Olaf Wuppermann. The Embassy which contributed to the participation of Madagascar in this exhibition was represented during the event by Mrs Elsa Rajemison responsible of tourism and Mrs. Volatiana Andriamanalina responsible of press.

Saturday, October the 29th, 2011, was held at the Embassy of Madagascar in Falkensee, the Consular Summit 2011 to countries of jurisdiction of the Embassy.

 

This workshop was an opportunity not only to review the events and highlights during the last 2 years, but also to present the various activities carried out by the Embassy and Consulates, and the perspective for the future. General and specific issues were discussed at this meeting.

 

August 31, 2011 - Stéphanie Andriamanjato left Germany after having successfully accomplished her internship at the German Car Industry Daimler AG, Stuttgart.

 

The STEP program "Students Experience Program" organized by the SAFRI (Southern Africa Initiative of German Business) selects every year graduates with a view to receive 6 months internship in a German Company. The aim of this program is to promote relations between Madagascar and Germany by training persons with knowledge of the business culture of both countries. Candidate's selection depends on their university course, their motivation, their senses of teamwork, their adaptability and the mastery of the English language.
